Menu Location:Sales > Invoices

2. When to Use B2B Invoices

Proof-of-Delivery Backed Commercial Billing

Merchandise has been delivered and signed for on physical Delivery Order #DO-001; billing department issues the official commercial bill.

Recommended Action:Generate a B2B Invoice referencing the verified Delivery Order; the system pulls delivered quantities and locked SO prices to ensure zero billing variance.

Consolidated Multi-Delivery Periodic Billing (Weekly / Monthly)

An enterprise corporate client receives 4 deliveries per week and mandates a single consolidated billing statement at week end.

Recommended Action:Attach multiple verified Delivery Orders to a single consolidated B2B Invoice, combining item lines while itemizing original delivery slip numbers.

Commercial Payment Terms (NET30/60) & AR Aging Analysis

Credit control monitors customer payment commitments and aging buckets (Current, 1-30 Days, 31-60 Days Overdue).

Recommended Action:Set dueDate based on customer contracted payment terms (e.g. NET30); the invoice feeds the Accounts Receivable ledger and triggers automated payment reminders.

Tax Invoice (e-Faktur) Compliance & Revenue Recognition

Accounting must recognize sales revenue and record output value-added tax liability for corporate tax filing upon commercial dispatch.

Recommended Action:Click Submit & Post on the invoice; the ERP posts double-entry journal entries (Debiting Accounts Receivable and Crediting Sales Revenue and VAT Output Payable).

Multi-Currency Wholesale Export Billing (USD / SGD)

Invoicing overseas corporate clients in foreign currency with automated currency conversion at prevailing bank exchange rates.

Recommended Action:Select foreign currency billing; the system computes base currency ledger equivalents while displaying foreign invoice values on commercial PDF invoices.
