1. Overview & Purpose

What is POS Daily Reporting?
POS Daily Reporting consolidates operational retail performance metrics across outlets. It provides daily sales turnover, tender breakdown across cash/electronic methods, cashier performance comparisons, and end-of-day shift closing summaries.

2. When to Use POS Reporting

Store Manager End-of-Day Gross vs Net Sales Closing

Outlet manager assesses daily turnover, average basket size (Rp/ticket), guest count, and promotional coupon deductions immediately after store doors close.

Recommended Action:Filter by current business date and store branch to review Gross Sales, total discount deductions, sales returns, and Net Realized Revenue scorecards.

Payment Tender Breakdown & Bank Deposit Matching

Store finance lead prepares bank deposit slips and matches electronic gateway settlements (QRIS, EDC BCA Debit, Mandiri Credit, Bank Transfer).

Recommended Action:Open the Payment Tender Breakdown tab to match total electronic currency collected per payment channel against physical terminal batch settlement slips.

Cashier Discrepancy & Over/Short Variance Analysis

Internal store auditor investigates repetitive cashier drawer shortages (e.g. Cashier B consistently reporting -Rp 20.000 shortages on weekend shifts).

Recommended Action:Examine the Closing Summary table filtered by cashier user to evaluate cumulative cash variances, shift notes, and supervisor approval logs.

Hourly Sales Velocity & Peak Rush Staffing Optimization

Operations director analyzes customer transaction traffic by hour of day (e.g. 12:00 - 14:00 lunch rush) to allocate part-time cashier lane staffing.

Recommended Action:Inspect the hourly sales velocity chart to identify high-density shopping windows and ensure maximum register lanes are manned during peak hours.

Top-Selling SKU Contribution & Pareto Analysis (80/20 Rule)

Merchandise buyers examine which 20% of inventory items generate 80% of daily retail turnover to prioritize supplier restock orders.

Recommended Action:Open the Product Sales Ranking tab to evaluate sales volume, revenue contribution, and unit margin percentages per SKU.

Monthly Tax Compliance Audit & Official Excel / PDF Export

External auditors and tax consultants require verified monthly point-of-sale turnover reports showing gross sales, discounts, net sales, and VAT output.

Recommended Action:Apply month-long date filter and click Export to Excel / PDF to generate an audited summary matching the monthly corporate tax return.
